except that the remark is perhaps a bit racist (Singaporean being equated with being irresponsible) it is a simple fact that this one was indeed "pilot error".  Other than sharing the blame between all the cockpit crew, how could any other effect be responsible? Pilot turned onto wrong (closed) runway (perhaps a bit erroneously marked – but not to the following China Air pilots) and attempted takeoff resulting in a crash and loss of numerous lives.
