No matter what the price of gas, you can’t buy it if you don’t have a job. Jobs in the US will continue to pay less and continue to go off shore until American wise up. American should be as smart as the Japanese. They support their own economy by only buying products from their own companies. The Japanese only buy products from other countries when they do not produce them in Japan. Even buying products that are assembled in the US by foreign companies of foreign parts is costing the loss of good paying jobs in the US. Even though the vehicles assembled in the US by Japanese companies that pay no federal corporate income taxes cost 25 to 30 percent more than similarly sized and equipped vehicles made in the US by American owned companies. Even though they pay their employees less and offer fewer benefits an less desirable pensions. American made products are as good or better than any made by foreign companies or foreign workers. The government can’t help you, if Americans expect to have jobs for their children and grand children they better soon look at the labels on all the things they buy and buy only those products made by Americans, in America, by American companies that pay American corporate income taxes. For some industries it is already too late. Even the military can’t find enough American garment manufactures left in the US to buy all their uniforms here in the US. Billions of dollar of profits, and the capital needed to creates jobs is leaving the US, ever year. You even have to make up the federal taxes lost on all that money, as well. Wise up Americans before the only job skill you will need is how to say ‘Welcome to WalMart and ‘Do you want fries with that?’ mike hunt > For a while now gas prices have gone up and down, it seems as if for > only a few days the prices are cheap but moreover the prices keep > getting more and more expensive. For a while now gas prices have gone up and down, it seems as if for only a few days the prices are cheap but moreover the prices keep getting more and more expensive. Jobs need to start paying more then they do because everything in todays economy is on the rise. I dont know about anyone else but I love horsepower but I have a full time job and go to school right now so it is kind of hard to afford school, bills and gas all at the same time, especially with all the different places I have to drive to. I was seriously thinking of getting a hybrid car but then again that cost money too. Where are these prices really going?
